The vehicle forms part of the reward Government is presenting to the senior national team for their ‘do well’ performance at the tournament hosted by Equatorial Guinea.
The Jeep Cherokee vehicle cost $76,000 each and would be supplied by Tannick Automobile, a company located on the Ashaiman-Tema motorway.
The company is known for importing Jeep and Chrysler vehicles into the country.
Asempa Sports reported that the company has already supplied seven of the vehicles.
Sports Minister, Mahama Ayariga, Asempa Sports was exclusively informed, had taken delivery of his Jeep Cherokee vehicle.
Family members and relatives of the players who have left the shores of the country for their various bases in Europe would in the course of the week walk into the yard of the company and drive home one of the vehicles.
President Mahama announced a package $25000 each for the players on their return from the tournament.
He further pledged the players that more packages would follow.
